Pedal Forge Bike Repair is a small bike repair business run from a home workshop in Valley Ridge, Calgary. This page explains what personal information I collect, why I collect it, and what I do with it.

What I collect

When you text or call me, I get your phone number and whatever you choose to send, usually your name, photos of your bike and a description of what's wrong. When you drop off a bike, I may note your name, phone number and the work you've asked for.

Why I collect it

Only to give you an estimate, do the repair, and contact you about it, for example to tell you it's ready or to check with you before adding parts.

Who else sees it

Your messages and photos are stored on my phone and with my phone and messaging providers. I don't sell, rent or trade your information, and I don't share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long I keep it

Only as long as I need it for your repair and for normal business records. After that I delete it.

This website

• The site doesn't use cookies, analytics or any tracking, and it has no forms.
• It's hosted by Cloudflare, which processes basic technical information such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
• The Text and Call buttons open your phone's own messaging or phone app. Nothing is sent through this website.
• The Valley Ridge map link opens Google Maps, which has its own privacy policy.
